9 d'Octubre at home and how hard is being back to London,...

Friends, the ones that are always there no matters what, meeting them, meeting my family, my little cousins that have grown up, Alba starts talking and I guess that the next time I'll see her she will already be walking.

I met a friend that I've been around 7 years without hearing about her, she was studying with me at the conservatory, now she is an opera singer and a pianist. She was giving a concert and I went to listen to her. It was very exciting to see her again.

Go to the river with my sister and Teresa, swim under the clouds in the fresh water of the rain, give presents and experience the rhythm of the life over there, so different from London,...

Great weekend surrounded by lovely people, it was hard to say goodbye again.

Back to London I've had to deal with some problems at work, and I've had to work hard, very hard,... we had a deadline on Friday and I've had to bear with so much pressure and stress, awful!

Now I feel that there is something changing in my life,.. I'm taking important decisions, closing a period of my life, ending with something that has been consuming a lot of my energies and I hope I am making the right choices. I feel better in a way even though it is a pity that things have to finish like that but sometimes it is the only way,..さよなら

End of Summer, beginning of Autumn,...

After coming back from New York I've been working quite hard, we had a deadline one week ago and that supposed 2 weeks of hard work, deliverance and late hours, including some work during the weekend.

Luckily I've also had time to meet with some friends, enjoy some sunny days, visit some exhibition, start my new language lessons in Holland Park, and go to the gym. It doesn't sound very bad, does it?

My friend Natatxa has been 3 weeks in London taking an English course so I've been meeting her from time to time when I could scape from work. We went to a Viktor & Rolf exhibition, we've been enjoying a sunny Sunday in Battersea Park, having some drinks in Hoxton square, walking along the river in Hammersmith,..

Last weekend was the Open House in London and my friend Pablo, who I met in my Erasmus in Delft came to visit me with his friend Rocio. They've just spend one day and a half in London but I think they really enjoyed, and I enjoyed a lot with them although the huge drunkeness of Friday night, hehehe. It was great going to the Shunt with them and find that strange guy who payed for our taxi without us hadn't even asked for it. Was short but intense!

And this weekend, Argentinian BBQ in Iaccopo's place. Good meet, good wine, and good friends: good combination! :-) After that, dinner in Betty's new home, just 35 minutes walk from my place! Happy to see her back to London!
And today, great lunch with the people from my team. We went to Blanca's place in Windsor. Julia, Sharan, Andrés, Santiago, Go, Mika, Blanca, her husband and me. Everyone has prepared something and we had a big tasteful lunch, really good! lovely garden, delicious food and lovely people, what else do I need? After lunch we had a nice walk around the city: the park, the castle, the river,.. It reminded me the NL.

Lately I'm thinking a lot about my life, what do I want, where do I want to go, what is it really important. And, yeah,.. I'm realizing that I use to dream too much, without accepting the facts. I dream and I try to make my dreams become reality but sometimes is good stop dreaming, stop wasting energies in something that is not really bringing you anything (it's not worth it!!!) and start appreciating more that what is there, that people that is there every time, that people that you can really trust.
It is hard to accept that you are not important anymore for some people that was still important for you. But once you realize of that, you appreciate more that people that is always there, that's the people that should really be important for you. And luckily I have great people around! :-) Thank you!

Back from NY and trying to find the time to rest a bit,...

9 days in NY > too many things to explain,...

- Walking, walking, walking many hours a day: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Coney Island, Central Park, Queens,...
- Visiting museums: Noguchi museum (as Gloria told me, you have to go), New Museum, Metropolitan, MOMA, Witney, PS1 (that included a big party)and Guggenheim (with a really nice Louise Burgeois' exhibition)
- Meeting people that studies at Columbia university: my friend Jose, Anna, Ignacio, Curro, Guillermo, Ana Maria,... and a long etcetera of friends of my friend Jose, most of them Spanish who where studying a master there.
- Having nice views of the skyscrapers: from Staten Island, from Brooklyn bridge, from the top of the Rock,...
- Shopping in Soho, Nolita, Noho, Century 21,...
- And having a lot of time to think about myself, my life, what do I want for my future... And thinking about giving solutions to some situations that need to be solved.

Non-stop for 9 days and arriving at the office on Monday morning straight from the airport almost without sleep,.. stay 8 hours in front of the computer and starting to feel the stressing atmosphere of the office again,..
Yesterday Go and me had to stay quite late producing 6 new boards with more options for the tower,I was so tired but at least I had nice company and I learnt how to ask, are you busy? in Japanese (but I've already forgotten,.. ups!)

Back from Dublin and working hard,... too hard,..

I'm tired,.. I waked up at 3 on Saturday, spent the weekend in Dublin, back to London on Sunday at 1 AM and Monday early morning working for the deadline that we were supposed to have yesterday.

On Monday at 6:30, already out of working time,.. I was told to build in 3D a new option for the tower, they explained me how they wanted and I had to do the 3D and rendering for that option and 2 more.

Yesterday I finished my work at 6 but I stayed helping the other people from my team.

And today,.. at 5 I've got a phone call from my boss telling me that we needed 2 more options for the tower, build the 3D, do the renderings,... After I've started that I've got 5 more phone calls from him (who was already in New York, where the meeting with the client is gonna be) and asked me to change everything again and again,.. so at the end I had to stay late again,.. 3 days in a row.

My luggage from Dublin still unpacked and my travel to New York without prepare, and it's not necessary talk about my gym,.. just impossible,.. This is not life,..

By the way,.. Dublin was very nice. Thanks to David who took care of me and walked around with me showing me the city and the surroundings, walking next to the cliffs, watching the seals. Some pictures of Ireland attached.

Holidays>New project

Too long time without writing, too many things to tell,.. Let´s be concise!

I've been in Festes de Pedreguer from the 11th of July until the 20th.
A friend of mine from New Zeland came to visit me the first weekend, we went to the beach, to a concert (Desgavell,...), we saw the fireworks from Dénia and I showed him around. He wanted to run in front of the bulls and he managed to do it! it was amazing! I guess he was the first asian guy that run in front of the bulls from Pedreguer!! I enjoyed a lot having him around but on Monday he left,.. he had to come back to his work,..
During the rest of the week I was going out everyday, meeting with friends, watching the bulls and eating well. The weather was not perfect,.. it was cloudy for some days,.. but still I could enjoy the sun and the beach. I met my friend from Pedreguer (les Perverses), my 'quintos', my friends from Dénia,Arnau and Carme, Tereseta, and of course my family!!! my little cousins have grown up a lot!!!

I've been in the 'cordà' where the people plays to trough rockets to each other inside a huge cage. I went to see the 'rally humoristic' where people with costumes hang around trying to answer some questions about folk culture and has to do some funny physical tests. There I ended up singing 'Una chica yeyé' with Albert and in front of more than 100 people!! I went to 'El Quatre', to the dinner with 'els quintos', the people that has the same age as me. I saw the fireworks,.. 9 days of non-stop where I managed to disconnect perfectly from the work and the London life,... So hard to come back to London after such a beautiful time surrounded by people that really appreciate me: so many lovely people that, of course, I miss,..

When I came back I worked one more week on City of Justice and then,.. finally I got a new project!! I am doing a tower in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and I'm in charge of doing a 6 floors SPA for women in the last floors of the building, that means above 400 meters hight!!! It will probably be the highest SPA in the world!! I'm so excited!!A new life seems to arrive at the office,.. new project, new people,.. and people that I will miss working with,.. but I'm sure it will be nice! This week a Japanese guy has joined our team and next week my friend Andrés from Madrid will do it, it will be nice to have some familiar face around!

In my life some more things have changed. Last week I joined the gym and I'm trying to go 3 times per week. I've already been in yoga class, in aqua gym, swimming, threadmill,...And Sharan will come with me! We will be very fit!!

Last Sunday I went with my father and some friends to the Oyster Festival in Witstable, it was a very sunny day and we had very nice time there.

Now there are some travels waiting for me. In August I'll go first to Dublin and after to New York. And probably I'll go to Venice in September, I've never been to the Venice Biennale and I would like to go this year. Let's see,... The summer is going too fast!!!!
