End of Summer, beginning of Autumn,...

After coming back from New York I've been working quite hard, we had a deadline one week ago and that supposed 2 weeks of hard work, deliverance and late hours, including some work during the weekend.

Luckily I've also had time to meet with some friends, enjoy some sunny days, visit some exhibition, start my new language lessons in Holland Park, and go to the gym. It doesn't sound very bad, does it?

My friend Natatxa has been 3 weeks in London taking an English course so I've been meeting her from time to time when I could scape from work. We went to a Viktor & Rolf exhibition, we've been enjoying a sunny Sunday in Battersea Park, having some drinks in Hoxton square, walking along the river in Hammersmith,..

Last weekend was the Open House in London and my friend Pablo, who I met in my Erasmus in Delft came to visit me with his friend Rocio. They've just spend one day and a half in London but I think they really enjoyed, and I enjoyed a lot with them although the huge drunkeness of Friday night, hehehe. It was great going to the Shunt with them and find that strange guy who payed for our taxi without us hadn't even asked for it. Was short but intense!

And this weekend, Argentinian BBQ in Iaccopo's place. Good meet, good wine, and good friends: good combination! :-) After that, dinner in Betty's new home, just 35 minutes walk from my place! Happy to see her back to London!
And today, great lunch with the people from my team. We went to Blanca's place in Windsor. Julia, Sharan, Andrés, Santiago, Go, Mika, Blanca, her husband and me. Everyone has prepared something and we had a big tasteful lunch, really good! lovely garden, delicious food and lovely people, what else do I need? After lunch we had a nice walk around the city: the park, the castle, the river,.. It reminded me the NL.

Lately I'm thinking a lot about my life, what do I want, where do I want to go, what is it really important. And, yeah,.. I'm realizing that I use to dream too much, without accepting the facts. I dream and I try to make my dreams become reality but sometimes is good stop dreaming, stop wasting energies in something that is not really bringing you anything (it's not worth it!!!) and start appreciating more that what is there, that people that is there every time, that people that you can really trust.
It is hard to accept that you are not important anymore for some people that was still important for you. But once you realize of that, you appreciate more that people that is always there, that's the people that should really be important for you. And luckily I have great people around! :-) Thank you!

Back from NY and trying to find the time to rest a bit,...

9 days in NY > too many things to explain,...

- Walking, walking, walking many hours a day: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Coney Island, Central Park, Queens,...
- Visiting museums: Noguchi museum (as Gloria told me, you have to go), New Museum, Metropolitan, MOMA, Witney, PS1 (that included a big party)and Guggenheim (with a really nice Louise Burgeois' exhibition)
- Meeting people that studies at Columbia university: my friend Jose, Anna, Ignacio, Curro, Guillermo, Ana Maria,... and a long etcetera of friends of my friend Jose, most of them Spanish who where studying a master there.
- Having nice views of the skyscrapers: from Staten Island, from Brooklyn bridge, from the top of the Rock,...
- Shopping in Soho, Nolita, Noho, Century 21,...
- And having a lot of time to think about myself, my life, what do I want for my future... And thinking about giving solutions to some situations that need to be solved.

Non-stop for 9 days and arriving at the office on Monday morning straight from the airport almost without sleep,.. stay 8 hours in front of the computer and starting to feel the stressing atmosphere of the office again,..
Yesterday Go and me had to stay quite late producing 6 new boards with more options for the tower,I was so tired but at least I had nice company and I learnt how to ask, are you busy? in Japanese (but I've already forgotten,.. ups!)
